Corgis are bossy. Amelia likes to be in control. She wants to be the boss all the time. But I’m da boss so this is our daily struggle. She barks and cries and whines until she gets her way. Unfortunately for her, I am kinda patient and good at blocking her out and ignoring her.

I really disagree with this. I have owned many corgis and rarely have they barked often. They are energetic and love walks, they cuddle nonstop, and they are food motivated but to avoid an overweight corgi you shouldn’t overfeed just because of the cute puppy eyes. Makes me wonder if you’ve ever had a corgi.

I dont see why this should stop someone from getting a corgi. Theres nothing that says the corgi is hard to train so why worry if it barks to much?

I had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for 16 years. She was the sweetest, most loving dog I’ve ever owned or maybe that should read that ever owned me. I won’t ever have any other breed.
