My corgi also has longer legs even though both parents have the regular shorter legs. She has a 100% Corgi personality. Her ears are also a little smaller. She is quite a talker, intelligent, and has the energy of 3 “normal” dogs. From what I read, she must have picked up the recessive longer leg gene from each of her parents. Her big brother is an English Shepherd, so her longer legs come in handy when she plays!

To house train your corgie puppy, start by establishing regular meal times twice a day, like early morning and in the evening. Then, take your puppy outside after each meal time, and wait 10 minutes or so for it to go to the bathroom. You should also take it out if you see it running in circles or between you and the door, as these are signs it needs to go to the bathroom. Once your puppy has relieved itself, praise it and give it a treat to reinforce the positive behavior. For tips on how to crate train your puppy, read on!

I really disagree with this. I have owned many corgis and rarely have they barked often. They are energetic and love walks, they cuddle nonstop, and they are food motivated but to avoid an overweight corgi you shouldn't overfeed just because of the cute puppy eyes. Makes me wonder if you've ever had a corgi.
